Paul manages relationships with our clients and oversees the project team.
Paul is a social entrepreneur and business development specialist with a background in the corporate and financial services sector. He is currently working within a number of projects that cross the worlds of business, social innovation, public philosophy and community building.
Alongside his role in ValueMetrix paul acts as Consultant to the Business Connect Trust, is on the boards of the education charity YouMatter, the prisoner reintegration charity Freedom for Life, and is a co-founder of the social enterprise LifeCycles. He is also one of the team behind the Jersey Good Business Charter and the Business is Good annual conference.
Simon is our Head Consultant and Advisor.
He is an experienced leader, speaker and writer in the intersection of people and ideas at work. He works with businesses in Jersey to solve problems of growth. This can be about growing in size, scale, headcount, productivity, efficiency, profitability or quality. To do this he has formed a number of companies with some of the best business minds in Jersey to make great ideas accessible to the whole Jersey economy.
Simon is a trustee of several charities and a pro bono adviser to a number of other good causes in the Island. His ambition is to make the experience of work in the Island of Jersey as beautiful and inspirational as the Island itself.
Darren heads up our communications and technology strategies.
He is an entrepreneur, designer and web developer with a wealth of experience in driving business growth through integrated digital strategy with a passion to see businesses grow their profits and people, while positively impacting the world around them.
A former Jersey resident but is now based in sunny Spain, with his family. Darren is a frequent visitor back to Jersey which always feels like “coming home”.
Sarah’s specialises in Change Delivery, with a proven track record of delivering complex change programs and projects across multiple industries. To compliment her technical delivery skills Sarah has also qualified as a Leadership Coach.
Sarah has worked on both social and environmental initiatives including being part of a first aid team helping refugees in the Calais ‘Jungle’, running logistics for a homeless shelter with Crisis UK, and being an ambassador for Trash Hero, a global beach clean program in Asia. Locally she trained and volunteered as a Samaritans listener. Her passion for environment comes from working as a PADI scuba instructor in Egypt and Indonesia.
Extensive travel to remote areas has built Sarah’s appreciation for privileges enjoyed by the developed world and driven her desire to make more of an impact with her work. Sarah is currently towards Professional Membership of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment, and recently co-founded Jersey Works, Jersey’s first independent, purpose driven community and coworking space.
Hilary brings’ over 17 years’ experience working as a campaigner, policy advisor, manager, and consultant for international organisations, United Nations agencies, NGO networks and community-based organisations.
Hilary has worked on diverse legislation and policy areas including development finance, migration, global health, gender, environment, security, agriculture, unfair trading practices, public procurement and trade as well as international norms including sustainable development goals, development effectiveness principles and the practices and modalities employed.
She has coordinated joint campaigns and advocacy towards the United Nations, World Bank Group, OECD DAC, G7, G20, European Union, International Finance Institutions and bilateral development banks, bringing in-depth knowledge of policies and processes of this multilateral institutions. She has led the development of and authored a range of thematic evidence-based research and analysis. She has extensive experience in developing trainings and facilitation.
Focusing more locally, Hilary is a trustee of several foundations, member of the Jersey Soroptimists International, committee member of the Whitley’s Association and the editor of St John’s Parish Magazine.
